Pioneer and the Pioneer Group offers you "PxLink," which is the application for its in-vehicle display audio product, as well as the "Pioneer ID" service that provides the account/membership function for various applications including PxLink. The purpose of this Cookie Policy (hereinafter referred to as "Cookie Policy") is to publicly provide the information on cookies that are used on the "My Pioneer ID" website and the "PxLink" application.

Capitalized terms used and not otherwise defined in this Cookie Policy shall have the same meanings as defined in the Privacy Policy.

   Pioneer processes the strictly necessary cookies based on our legitimate interest, which is the provision of high-quality services, such as websites and applications to you. The other cookies are placed based on your consent.

   Methods of Managing and Deleting Cookies

   Pioneer may, in order to provide the Services, transfer your personal information to its companies or to recipients located outside the country where you reside. Pioneer undertakes the necessary actions to ensure an appropriate and adequate level of protection of your personal data.

   Retention period of personal data

   Certain data we collect from users through cookies and other technologies may be linked to you and allow you to be identified. Consequently, this data qualifies as personal data, making our Privacy Policy applicable to the processing of this data by our cookies.

   The retention period of this collected personal data may differ from the retention period (lifetime) of the cookie (see section 4 of this Cookie Policy). We never keep personal data longer than necessary for the purpose of processing for which the data was collected.

   This Cookie Policy may be amended from time to time in accordance with the business circumstances of Pioneer. Any amendment to this Cookie Policy will be posted or displayed on the "My Pioneer ID" website or the "PxLink" application, and become effective on the effective date or notification date thereof.

   If the method of use of cookies will be substantially changed due to an amendment to this Cookie Policy, Pioneer may ask for your consent to the use of cookies again by posting or notifying on the "My Pioneer ID" website or the "PxLink" application. In such cases, please use them after confirming the relevant update or amendment to this Cookie Policy.
