and to promote management that improves the sustainability of our business operations.
TCFD is a climate-related financial disclosure task force established by the Financial Stability Board (FSB), which includes the central banks of 25 major countries and regions, the World Bank, and the IMF. It recommends the disclosure of climate-related information that has a financial impact on corporate management.
We have endorsed the TCFD in August 2023 and are proceeding scenario analysis and information disclosure in line with the TCFD's recommendations.
CDP is an international NGO that sends questionnaires to companies regarding their efforts to address climate change, water, and forest protection, and collects, analyzes, evaluates, and publishes their responses.
We began responding to the questionnaire in 2010 and have been disclosing environmental relevant information including climate change. The management level “B” rating* in climate change under CDP 2024 were obtained continuing from last year.
Management level B score: The third highest of eight in the CDP Score Criteria. It recognizes companies that are managing their environmental impact and taking actions to establish themselves as leaders in their field.
SBTi is a joint initiative of the UN Global Compact, CDP, WRI and WWF. Companies are asked to set science-based greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets, keeping the global average temperature increase below 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels in line with the Paris Agreement.
Our following near-term science-based emissions reduction targets (1.5°C level targets set for the next 5 to 10 years) have been approved by SBTi in April 2025.

The SDGs consist of 17 goals and 169 targets, and are global goals to achieve a sustainable society by 2030, such as eradicating poverty and hunger, promoting clean energy, countermeasures against climate change, and building a peaceful society.
We are working on creating shared value (CSV) between corporate value and social value through the SDGs.
GX (Green Transformation) League is a forum for cooperation between a group of companies and the government, universities, and academic institutions in order to meet greenhouse gas reduction targets and increase industrial competitiveness by using Japan’s goal of carbon neutrality by 2050 as an opportunity for economic growth.
GX League Basic Concept is the basic guidelines for how the GX league promotes initiatives to simultaneously realize corporate growth and well-being of customers, and contributions to the global environment through the transformation GX league aims to achieve.
