Pioneer Announces Leadership Change
Pioneer Corporation today announced a change in executive leadership. Effective March 1, 2026, Shiro Yahara has stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer, and Naoto Takashima has assumed that role.
This change reflects the Company’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its corporate management and accelerating the implementation of its global strategy for smart cockpit solutions, in collaboration with CarUX Holding Limited (“CarUX”).
Effective December 1, 2025, Pioneer became a part of CarUX, a leading supplier of integrated smart cockpit solutions to automakers and a subsidiary of Innolux Corporation. Under this new business environment, Pioneer intends to accelerate its global smart cockpit initiatives.
To enhance the Company’s management structure and ensure the successful execution of its medium‑ and long‑term business strategy, Pioneer has appointed Naoto Takashima as its President and CEO to succeed Shiro Yahara. Mr. Takashima possesses extensive experience in the mobility field, a solid track record in managing operations both domestically and internationally, and proven leadership as the CEO of Pioneer’s Mobility Product Company. Pioneer believes he is best qualified to lead the Company to its next phase of growth.
