Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Pioneer Corporation, will exhibit at 2016 International CES, which will take place in Las Vegas from January 6 through 9, 2016.
Pioneer aims to be a leading company of "Comprehensive Infotainment", creating comfort, excitement, safety and reliability in vehicles. Providing an overview of our car electronics businesses in both the OEM and consumer markets, we will display a variety of cutting-edge technologies under development for the automated driving society as well as our latest car electronics products that dedicate to the realization of "connected cars".

We will show the advanced automated driving-related technologies that Pioneer is developing, such as 3D-LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), a driving space sensor that is spotlighted as a key device for realizing automated driving, high-precision vehicle location technologies, and a system for maintaining and operating advanced maps efficiently ("data ecosystem").
Visitors can enjoy a simulated driving experience of a connected car in an advanced in-vehicle environment. Contextual awareness technology recognizes and anticipates every situation and provides, at the most optimal timing, information that drivers need in the midst of the constantly changing circumstances they encounter while driving.
We will propose a transparent high-mount stop lamp utilizing the feature of OLED lighting which lights in only one direction and turns to transparent when it unlights. When it lights, the lamp emits light one-side only to the rear, thus ensuring rearward visibility from the driver's seat.
We will display our latest car electronics products including new lineup of NEX (Networked Entertainment eXperience) series available in North America to enhance connectivity to smartphones. Visitors can experience various cloud services, advanced function and powerful sound by Pioneer's unique technologies in a demo car at Pioneer booth.
We will display a high-performance cycle-computer and related-training tools for athletes.
