Pioneer Corporation today announced that its white-label solution for the COCCHi car navigation app designed for smartphones provides a basis for Audi Japan’s dedicated car navigation app.

Pioneer has honed its sophisticated routing technology through decades of expertise and experience in developing and marketing car navigation systems, and has leveraged it to develop the widely popular COCCHi app. The Audi Navi App, a navigation app developed for Audi owners in Japan, is based on the COCCHi app to provide the most accurate car navigation system finely tailored to complex roads and signals in Japan, as well as versatile and dependable driver assist while on the road. Features exclusively available in the Audi Navi App include the startup page featuring the Audi logo and a special sound effect, a specially designed menu window, Audi dealers marked on the map, a single-button search for authorized Audi dealers and EV charging stations in the area, and roadside assistance. All these features enhance driving safety and comfort for Audi owners.
