Pioneer to Unveil “Pioneer Ride Connect” UX Solution
for Two-Wheelers at CES 2026Integration with HERE SDK designed for global market deployment
Pioneer Corporation today announced it will unveil Pioneer Ride Connect, a groundbreaking UX solution for motorcycles, at the upcoming CES 2026, which will be held in Las Vegas, the United States, from January 6 through 9, 2026.
Pioneer Ride Connect revolutionizes the design of new generations of connected clusters for motorcycles and consistently delivers innovative value to riders through software updates. Furthermore, the solution represents the culmination of a technology collaboration between Pioneer and HERE Technologies, announced on December 5, 2024*. Pioneer Ride Connect is integrated with HERE SDK**, a cloud-based SDK for mapping and navigation development, with global mapping coverage across more than 120 countries. This integration serves as the foundation for the development and provision of connected services for two-wheelers in the global market.

Pioneer Ride Connect employs our proprietary screen projection technology based on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to seamlessly project images of the maps and up-to-date information from connected services, processed by smartphones, onto the screens of onboard cluster devices. This approach eliminates the need for higher processing power in connected clusters and reduces battery consumption in smartphones, thereby optimizing the materials costs of clusters.
Voice Tap, our proprietary voice-based HMI, facilitates stress-free, hands-free operation. Beyond enhanced ease of use, the sharing of traffic, weather, and hazard information via an edge AI contributes to improved rider safety and comfort while on the go.
Pioneer Ride Connect is seamlessly integrated with HERE SDK to provide high-precision maps and real-time traffic information, as well as cloud-based navigation, including routing, and location-based services (LBSs) optimized for motorcycles. The integration with HERE SDK paves the way for deployment in the global market. The off-line mode can be added to ensure uninterrupted operation in areas with unstable network connections, providing consistently safe and comfortable riding experiences in urban, rural, and mountainous regions.
