Pioneer Car Navigation System Factory-Installed
in Suzuki XBEE Compact SUV
Pioneer Corporation today announced that its car navigation system is available as a factory-installed option for the all-new XBEE (pronounced “crosby”) compact SUV, marketed by Suzuki Motor Corporation in Japan since October 2025.
The all-new XBEE boasts a charming exterior design and a roomy interior, both of which were inherited from its processor. It also incorporates upgraded safety and comfort features, along with significantly improved road performance and fuel efficiency. The Pioneer car navigation system for the new XBEE is equipped with a sharp and clear nine-inch high-definition (HD) display, framed to seamlessly follow the contours of the vehicle’s dashboard. This system navigates the driver through an optimal route to the destination, using an intuitive map and guide. The HDMI input and the support for Apple CarPlay and Android AutoTM for smartphones enable the playback of a diverse range of infotainment content on the road. The customizable home screen is divided into navigation, vehicle information, and audio sections, simplifying the selection and operation of various features. As an additional benefit, subscribers of the Suzuki Connect Service can receive notifications on the unit’s screen and initiate calls to Suzuki Customer Support for assistance directly from the screen.
This car navigation system is compatible with GPS, QZSS (commonly known as Michibiki), and GLONASS global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), and features a nine-inch HD display. The system offers high-precision route navigation, including free updates on its map data for 36 months after the purchase of the vehicle. Additionally, the system seamlessly integrates with Suzuki-supplied onboard dashcams and ETC2.0/ETC devices. Other features include the detection and alert for wrong-way driving on a ramp or highway, as well as a 360-degree bird’s-eye view of the vehicle and real-time vehicle information such as travel distance, distance to empty, and average gas mileage shown on the screen. The support for Apple CarPlay and Android AutoTM facilitates the utilization of smartphones’ music playback, messaging, and hands-free calling capabilities. Furthermore, an HDMI input, Bluetooth® connectivity, and a USB input for flash drives allow the playback of a variety of music and video content. When connected with a DVD/CD slot sold separately, it can also play back CDs and DVDs.
