News Release：Pioneer Announces Organization and Management Changes

Pioneer Corporation announced organization and management changes effective July 1, 2022 as follows.

Pioneer aims to accomplish its 2025 Corporate Vision “Creating the Future of Mobility Experiences.” We will review its executive officer structure of the engineering division and strengthen its quality assurance structure with the aim of further accelerating our transformation into a solutions and services company that enable to solves a variety of issues in the mobility field through the provision of our “products and services.”

Organization Changes

The following organization will be newly established.

Quality Assurance Division

The current “Quality Assurance Group” will be upgraded to the “Quality Assurance Division” for the purpose of ensuring high quality on the customer's perspective, which is important in developing new business model-based products and services, and achieving customer success in order to transform the company into a solutions and services company.

Changes in Management and Changes of Responsibilities

• Mr. Yasushi Okazaki, currently General Manager of Technology Management Group, Technology Development Division. He will be elected as Executive Officer and be in charge of Technology Development Division.
• Mr. Kazuhiro Iwata, currently Executive Officer, CTO and General Manager, SaaS Technology Center. He will become Senior Executive Officer.
• Senior Executive Officer Mr. Mitsumasa Kato, currently General Manager of Engineering Development Division and Quality Assurance Group. He will be in charge of Quality Assurance Division.
