Pioneer Corporation and its group companies (collectively, the “Pioneer Group”) recognize that the proper management of information assets is an important management issue and have developed the Information Security Policy (the “Policy”) to protect information assets that came to be known and received from its customers and business partners through the provision of products and services, and the information assets of the Pioneer Group. The Pioneer Group declares that it will comply with the following Policy:
- The Pioneer Group will protect and properly manage all information assets it possesses and build a structure for quickly implementing information security measures.
- The Pioneer Group will develop the necessary internal rules for protecting and properly managing information assets under the Policy.
- The Pioneer Group will implement the necessary information security measures to prevent the security incidents of unauthorized access, destruction, information leaks, and alteration of information assets. In the event of a security incident, the Pioneer Group will promptly take the proper action and implement recurrence-prevention measures.
- The Pioneer Group will train all of its officers and employees as necessary to protect and properly manage information assets.
- The Pioneer Group will strive to improve information security management on an ongoing basis by implementing such measures as reviewing the Policy appropriately in light of changes in the social environment, laws and regulations, the latest information technology trends, and newly identified risks.
- The Pioneer Group will observe laws and regulations concerning information security and internal rules on information security that it set forth.
Supplementary provisions
The Policy will come into force on November 1, 2025.
