To provide an additional means of communicating direct reports from all individuals working within the Pioneer Group, we have an internal reporting system: Business Ethics Hotline. The company protects the anonymity of individuals reporting issues through the Business Ethics Hotline and ensures that such informants are not subject to harassment or retaliation. Individuals engaging in harassment or retribution against informants are dealt with severely and are subject to punitive measures, including dismissal.
Furthermore, in addition to establishing original local hotlines at its overseas subsidiaries, the Pioneer Group has established a hotline which is for outside directors who are audit and supervisory committee members and receives reports from in and out of the Pioneer Group, to strengthen the compliance structure of the entire Group.
