Tohoku Pioneer Corporation
Yonezawa Plant is resumed on today April 13 after a temporary suspension for prevention of further infections.
This suspension was decided for health and safety reason after confirming that a close relative of the employee at Yonezawa Plant was infected by COVID-19 on April 9. The employee has been staying home since April 7 and confirmed to be negative on polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) testing on April 11.
Although the employee has no health claims, our countermeasure policy will bind the employee to stay home until April 27. Other employees who had close contact with the employee will stay home until April 20. All affected areas have been disinfected properly.
Safety of our customers, our employees and their family and prevention of the spread of infection are the first priority. We appreciate your understanding.
